I’m Andrey Zaporozhets, also known as SUNSAY, and I’m inviting you to join me on a deeply personal and creative journey. After months of intense work, I’m nearing the release of my new album—my first ever in English—set to launch this November. This album is a powerful mix of American soul music from the 70s and my own heartfelt messages of hope, peace, and contemplation.
Music has always been my way of connecting with the world, and this album is no exception. I began writing it during one of the hardest times in my life when my hometown, Kharkiv, was under attack. Amidst the chaos and uncertainty, I found solace in my music, and out of that, the album was born. The first single, "Enough Is Enough," reflects my deep desire for peace. Inspired by legends like Bob Marley, John Lennon, and Marvin Gaye, it carries the message of unity and non-violence, saying “No more war, enough is enough.”
When the "Enough Is Enough" video was released, it touched the hearts of listeners across the US, UK, and Europe, proving the universal power of music to heal and bring people together. And now, I’m preparing to release the second single—a deeply personal song written as a tribute to my father. This song isn’t just about family; it’s about reflection, healing, and coming to terms with life’s complexities. It’s raw, vulnerable, and tells the story of finding peace with the past.
This entire album is a reflection of my evolution as a musician and a person. It’s a statement about the power of love, compassion, and understanding—and I believe it can make a difference. But, to make this vision a reality, I need your help.
