Dear friends and music lovers,
We are bringing together visionary musicians from Nepal and the West for a once-in-a-lifetime collaboration. This project is the first in a series dedicated to capturing the spirit of the world's most sacred places. Our inaugural journey brings us to the heart of Kathmandu: the holy Boudha Stupa.
The central event of our project is a unique concert-offering of modified music, composed by pianist Amelien and performed live for the Stupa and its community. This site-specific performance is designed as a spiritual offering, created for the benefit of all beings.
Around this core, all the musicians will spend two transformative weeks in Kathmandu co-creating a full-length album. This album will be an alchemical fusion of their styles, born from the direct inspiration of the city's atmosphere—a blend of East and West, the traditional and the modern.
You are invited to help make this vision a reality. Your support will directly fund the production of this film and album, preserving this powerful exchange of cultures and sharing it with the world.

- On-the-Ground Production (40%): This is the core of the project. It covers the costs of filming in Nepal for our small, professional crew, including:
- Local Crew & Fixers: Hiring talented Nepali cinematographers, sound engineers, and production assistants is essential for an authentic and smooth shoot.
- Equipment Rental & Logistics: High-quality 4K cameras, audio recording gear for pristine sound, and transportation for the team around Kathmandu.
- Permits & Location Fees: Securing the permissions needed to film respectfully at the sacred Boudha Stupa and other locations.
- Post-Production (25%): This is where the raw footage becomes a film. Costs include:
- Professional Video Editing, color grading, and sound design to create a cinematic experience.
- Motion Graphics & Subtitles for interviews with our Nepali collaborators.
- Album Production & Musician Collaboration (20%): The heart of the project! This budget ensures we can:
- Cover travel expenses for all the incredible musicians.
- Cover costs for recording sessions, and mixing/mastering the final album.
- Vinyl Production & Rewards Fulfilment (10%): This covers the physical goods you can receive!
- Manufacturing the limited edition 300-run vinyl records.
- Printing, packaging, and international shipping for all physical rewards (vinyl, posters, etc.) to our backers around the world.
- Platform & Payment Processing Fees (5%): Unfortunately payment processors take a small percentage of the funds raised.

- Enhance the film with licensed archival footage or more complex animations.
